Deck and Gazebo with Log Railing

This was a fun project that my son and I did out by Wamego.  We replaced the original deck with a larger covered deck.  We also added a walk down to the gazebo.  The owner was going to build metal art to go into the walk way railing, so I don’t have after photos yet.

The deck was built out of treated materials, but the railing and deck cover way all logs and planking.

The challenge on this job was working with the different size logs to build the roof.  We made a template to cut the logs to give the planks an even surface to attach to.
